NORRHASSEL COLLECTION LAUNCH IN TOKYO

TOKYO / I was twenty years old when I bought my first Hasselblad camera; with the money meant to be paid for my first apartment. I clearly remember the moment that I put the camera on my pillow like a precious stone, feeling totally elated and dreaming about being part of the Hasselblad family one day.

It never crossed my mind that twenty years on I would be invited by Hasselblad to travel to Japan in order to tell my story to the Japanese media. Not only was I telling my story, but I was also able to share my experience of a near heart attack when I won the Hasselblad Masters Award a few years ago and how I became a Hasselblad Ambassador. I also had the honour of talking about having my sock image, which is part of the NORRHASSEL limited edition collection, a set of 7 photographs created by Hasselblad Masters, being sold in Ikea stores worldwide. And it all still seems so surreal..
